How we handle it
A good window installed badly still leaks air and water. We set units level and square, insulate the gap, flash the opening and finish the trim inside and out.
Cutting a new opening or widening one changes the structure above it. That work is done with a properly sized header and under a building permit.
A basement bedroom or second unit needs a window or door that meets building code exit requirements. We size and install egress windows to meet them.
Common questions
How long does window replacement take?
Most houses are done in one to three days once the windows arrive. Ordering lead time is the longer part.
Do I need a permit to replace windows?
Same-size replacements usually don't. New or enlarged openings do.
Will it make a mess inside?
We protect floors and furniture and clean up each day.
