How we handle it
Trim is where the eye lands, so we take the time on tight mitres, consistent reveals and clean caulk lines. Built-ins are scribed to your walls, which are never perfectly straight.
Decks are built on proper footings with pressure-treated, cedar or composite materials, and with the railing heights and stair details the building code calls for.
Many decks need a building permit, usually when they're attached to the house or sit more than about 60 cm above the ground. We check your municipality's rule and handle the application.
Common questions
Can you match existing trim in an older house?
Usually. We source matching profiles or have them milled when a stock profile isn't available.
Composite or wood for a deck?
Composite costs more up front and needs very little upkeep. Wood costs less and needs regular sealing. We'll price both.
Do you build custom closets?
Yes, from simple shelving to full built-in wardrobes.
