Every trade your home needs, under one roof.
Start with a single room or hand us the whole house. These are the four projects we're asked about most, followed by everything else we take care of.
Tile Installation
Floors, showers, backsplashes and feature walls set by a tile setter.
Kitchen Renovations
Layouts, cabinets, counters, tile and every trade needed to finish the room.
Bathroom Renovations
Full bathroom remodels with plumbing, electrical, tile and glass handled together.
Basement Finishing
Family rooms, bathrooms, home offices and legal second units.
A renovation is six trades. You should only have to call one.
Most renovation stress comes from the gaps between trades: who goes first, who's late and who's responsible when something doesn't fit.
Hiring trades yourself
- Find, vet and book each trade separately
- Work out the right order and chase everyone to keep it
- Several quotes, several contracts, several invoices
- The plumber blames the tiler, and the tiler blames the framer
- You take time off work to let people in
Working with Star
- One contract that covers every trade on the job
- A schedule set before demolition, with materials ordered ahead
- One itemized quote and one point of payment
- One company responsible for how it all fits together
- A site lead who is there and keeps you updated
It started with tile.
Vasyl Kostiuk is a tile setter. Tile is the last trade into a room, and it shows every mistake made before it: a floor that isn't flat, a wall that isn't plumb, a drain set in the wrong place.
After years of fixing other people's shortcuts before he could start his own work, he built a team to do the whole job properly. Star Renovators brings carpenters, plumbers, electricians, painters and the other trades together under one name, held to a finisher's standard.

Good things to know first.
What kinds of projects do you take on?
Anything from a single tiled backsplash to a full-home renovation. Kitchens, bathrooms, basements, flooring, painting, plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling, roofing, windows, doors, landscaping, cleaning and pest control.
Do I have to hire the trades separately?
No. That's the point of working with us. You sign one contract, and we bring in and manage every trade the job needs.
Who does the electrical, plumbing and gas work?
Licensed trade partners. Electrical work is done by a Licensed Electrical Contractor with ESA notification, plumbing by licensed plumbers, and gas work by TSSA-certified technicians.
Can I hire you for just one trade?
Yes. If you only need tile set, a room painted or a door replaced, we do that too.
Do you handle permits?
Yes. When a project needs a building, plumbing or electrical permit, we arrange the drawings, submit the application and book the inspections.
How do quotes work?
We visit, look at the space and talk through what you want. You then get a written, itemized quote so you can see what each part of the job costs.
What areas do you cover?
Toronto, including Etobicoke, North York and Scarborough, plus Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill and Oakville. If you're nearby, ask.
